DR. PAUL CAPULONG – D.C. is the owner/chief of Active Therapy Center.
Dr. Paul Capulong always strived to be part of the health care field. He graduated from Cleveland Chiropractic College and before that earned his bachelor’s degree in biology, with a minor in chemistry. Dr. Paul has a keen understanding of human anatomy and physiology. This, along with his grasp on pathology helps qualify him as a skilled clinician, while allowing him to help his patients better manage their conditions.
Dr. Paul’s adoration for sports and outdoor activities led him to pursue a career in chiropractic. As an avid boxing, mix martial arts, and fitness enthusiast, Dr. P has observed and experienced numerous injuries with the general understanding of the physiology behind an injury. With his extensive knowledge of most human diseases, he has found the desire to come to assist people with certain malignancies through chiropractic or co-managing with other doctors.

Dr. Paul was born and raised from Virginia Beach, Virginia. He enjoys the outdoors whether it is on the beach or on the mountains. He enjoys hiking, running outdoors and golfing. His fondness for nature further drives him to educate people to be more active and stay fit.

As a board certified chiropractor and certified practitioner in Active Release Techniques® (ART®), Dr. Roy Nissim is dedicated to helping individuals reach an optimum level of health and fitness through personalized treatment specifically tailored to one’s activity level and needs.
By employing ART® in conjunction with traditional chiropractic techniques and exercise rehabilitation, Dr. Roy has successfully treated acute and repetitive strain injuries in half the time of more traditional therapy methods. These results allow the patient to return to their normal activities after only a few treatments.

Parham has over 10 years of experience working in physical rehabilitation and sports training. He holds both a BSc. and a MSc. in kinesiology from Simon Fraser University as well as a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Washington University in St. Louis. During the course of his educational career, Parham has worked with various bantem-level hockey teams providing dry-land training and has designed and implemented training modules for elite kickboxing athletes. He has extensive experience with injuries related to motor vehicle accidents, occupation and sports. Parham specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of the foot, ankle and shoulder. In his personal life, he enjoys training and competing in triathlons, mountain climbing and spending time with his family.
Over 28 years experience in physical therapy and massage therapy, he is a trained specialist in the methods of Neuromuscular Re-Education. His patients find pain relief, range of motion improvement, extreme gains in flexibility, and enhanced performance.
Jenny Sang Bak is licensed Acupuncturist (L.A.c) and herbalist certified by the California Acupuncture
Board (AC6549).
In 1998, she received a master’s degree in Acupuncture and Herb Medicine from Sam Ra university of Oriental Medicine, in Los Angeles California. She uses acupuncture, electro-acupuncture, pain relief acupuncture, auriculo acupuncture (ear acupuncture) and manual therapy (called Tui-Na) to safely and effectively get her patients out of pain and back to health. She strongly believes in integrative medicine and works with a select group of MDs, D.O (orthopedic), Chiropractors, and other specialist to comprehensively treat and eliminate pain and dysfunction after injury. Her practice is based on Transitional Medicine, which provides her with multiple levels of treatment strategies and she meets her patients with positive, effective and even cheerful (happy) care. Whether you’re suffering from back or neck pain, anxiety or depression, insomnia or digestive problem, using acupuncture to provide relief can feel like opening a door to let in a fresh air.
